Celtic
harp motif was the inspiration for this meticullously sculpted
stein. On one panel we see a raised relief shamrock, on the opposite
side, we see the famous Irish claddaugh symbol. An emerald jewel
appears on the celtic dragon handle. Opposite the handle between
the knot work is the word "Ireland." Strings of the
harp are seen symmetrically on both sides of the stein. Emerald
green is the primary glaze color, but the stein comes to life
with accents of yellow, deep blue, rich red, cream and kelly green.
An embossed pewter lid with "Ireland" and a shamrock
completes the piece. |
